Our story
Little Hands Daycare has been caring for Iron Mountain families since 1997.
Founded
Caroline Sullivan built something real
In 1997, Caroline Sullivan opened Little Hands Daycare with a simple belief that children thrive when they’re treated like family. Every day for over 35 years, our staff has shown up to do the work that matters most, caring for infants as young as six weeks and children up to twelve years old.

I have been doing daycare for 39 years! I am the
proud mom of three gorgeous daughters who
are all adults now. Animals are another favorite
of mine and that is well documented at home as
well as daycare- we have two turtles, several
birds, and two dogs! My job is fun and I love that
everyday is different. We recently remodeled the
daycare and I couldn’t be more pleased! I take
pride in the safe, fun environment we’ve created
here at Little Hands and I’m always excited to
meet new people!

I have been a part of the Little Hands family for seven years! My favorite part of the
job is getting to do art projects and fun crafts with the kids! At home, I have a cat
named Cosmo and I love to read in my free time. I’ve always had a passion for taking
care of children and love helping them learn new things!

I joined Little Hands in 2022! I now have a child of my own who loves his daycare
family! My favorite part of the job is creating bonds with each child and getting to
see them reach milestone after milestone. The happiness of a child is so contagious! I
also have a fur legged baby at home- a dog named Bella. I love getting to spend
time with my family and coloring in my free time. I’m always excited to help anyone
in any way I can!

Part-time caregiver
I have been working at Little Hands since 2022 and I love it here! When I’m not
working I am a full time student at Northern Michigan University studying
Elementary Education. I love to come back to my job in the summer and any other
chance I get! I have big dreams to become a kindergarten teacher, and getting to
work with the kids here has only made my aspirations stronger. I love sloths and
bowling- I was on Iron Mountain’s High School bowling team for four years! If I had
to pick a favorite part of my job, it would be the friendships I have created with each
child- each and every one unique in their own way!
